Golf

Janet Kennedy

Al Cleven

Congratulations to Janet Kennedy who had a hole in one today during the School’s Open Open. She hit a six Hybrid on the 4th hole at Golf Dorval.

We didn’t have an ace for 15 years of L’ARSE golf and now we’ve had 2 in less than a week.

Congratulations to Alan Cleven who had a hole in one.

It was on the 7th hole at the Des Moulins course at Le Versant.

He hit a six iron to the left of the hole and it went in after one bounce.

It is believed to be the first ace by a L’Arse golfer during our Monday play.

The L’arse Golf group meets twice a month to play a variety of courses. One of the season highlights is “The School is Open Open” held the first day the students go back to school after summer vacation.

The goal of the golf group is to create an opportunity to play rather than an obligation, in other words, play when you feel like playing. Most golfers play 18 holes but accommodations are made for those who prefer to play 9 holes. The skill levels vary considerably. What everyone has in common is an enjoyment of the game, the exercise and the company, not necessarily in that order!
